Information for Community Partners

Kaulu by KS Digital (Kaulu) is a Kamehameha Schools initiative in which we partner with community organizations that offer online, on-’āina, and hybrid opportunities that connect keiki and ‘ohana to learning, grounded in and centered on ‘ike Hawaiʻi and ‘ōlelo Hawaiʻi, with the goal of growing ‘ōiwi leaders, people who use their knowledge, skills, and passions to strengthen Hawaiʻi and its people.
Kamehameha Schools seeks to partner with community ʻāina and Hawaiian culture-based education providers in its Kaulu Papahana Huakaʻi program.
Kamehameha Schools would like to monetarily support such community programs to make them freely available. Kaulu will provide recruitment and promotional support for your program. Applicants will register directly with your organization.
Kaulu hopes you will consider partnering with us. Please see the steps and forms below to propose a program for the upcoming academic year. If you have any questions please email kauluhuakai@ksbe.edu or call Makana Garma at (808) 227-4093.
The deadline for 2022-23 Kaulu Papahana Huakaʻi proposals and budgets was
4pm on Monday, July 11, 2022.
